Staple List Privacy
Staple List keeps grocery data local by default and syncs household data only when online sharing is used.
Data stored
The app stores shopping item names, household name, list preferences, invite code, and recently bought item history so the list remains useful offline.
Household sync
When online sharing is enabled, shopping item names, household name, preferences, invite code, and list history may be sent to the configured Staple List sync endpoint.
AI list creation
When Pro AI list creation is used, the prompt, household name, and a short list of recent item names may be sent to the configured Staple List AI endpoint to create a shopping list.
No account requirement
Staple List does not require an account, precise location, contacts, health data, payment information, or personal messages for the current release.
Purchases
Purchases, restores, and subscription status are managed by App Store or Google Play through RevenueCat. Staple List does not store payment card details.
